Veterans Affairs Services

Your Service Deserves More Than “Good Enough”

Many veterans share the same wish as other seniors: to remain in their own homes as they age or recover from injuries. Our vision is to give back to these heroes by helping them maintain independence and dignity at home, surrounded by the comforts they fought to protect.

We do this work because it’s an honor for us – a way of saying “thank you for your service” through our service. Another important reason we focus on veterans is because we’ve seen how often they aren’t aware of support available to them.

For example, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) offers programs and benefits that can financially assist with home care, yet too few veterans take advantage.

It’s astounding that roughly one-third of seniors could qualify for up to $2,100 per month in VA pension aid for care, but only about 5% of eligible veterans are receiving this benefit.

This includes the well-known Aid and Attendance pension, which can provide funds to pay for in-home care or assisted living for a veteran or their surviving spouse. Many families simply don’t know these benefits exist or how to apply.

Our mission is to bridge that gap. We guide veterans and their families through the process – pointing them toward helpful resources, explaining eligibility, and even working with local veteran service officers – so that our veteran clients can get the care they need without undue financial strain.

Ultimately, we see our Veterans Assist service as neighbors helping neighbors. Infinite Loving Hands is a home to many brave veterans, and our goal is to ensure none of them feel alone or underserved. They were there for us; now it’s our turn to be there for them.

The Heart of Care

We know how quickly the “little” things stop feeling little—when a shower isn’t safe, a proper meal takes more energy than you have, PTSD turns a good day on its head, rides fall through, and the person who loves you most is afraid to step away. You carried the weight for all of us; now you deserve someone who will carry it with you.

So we show up—quietly, consistently, and with care. We handle the hard parts: warm meals, safe transfers, clear floors, gentle med reminders, calm trips to the VA, and a patient ear after a long night. This isn’t charity or a checkbox; it’s our way of saying “thank you” in practical, respectful ways that keep home feeling like home and your peace of mind intact.
